Last month’s hankering for everything grilled is continuing in the July 2020 Meal Plan! And it’s summer so why not? I’m all about keeping the heat out of the kitchen either by grilling outdoors or cooking in the crockpot.
I am completely burned out on chicken so I have a HUGE variety of meats and cuts included in this month’s plan. You can easily swap the meats for your favorite vegetarian protein if you’re not big on meat. I am super excited to experiment with cooking some meats I’ve never cooked before and exposing my kids to some new variety too!

Vegan vs. Omnivore?
It’s so strange to look back because at this time last year, I was complaining about how much meat I needed to eat while on my Elimination Diet. Yet now I’m embracing eating more meat because I honestly feel BETTER as an omnivore than I ever did as a vegan/vegetarian.
Over the course of my elimination diet process, I realized that virtually all my meat-free proteins were contributing to my gut, skin, hormone, and pain issues. And I’ve discovered that eating higher fat and protein really helps me feel better, have more balanced energy, and even clears up my skin!
