The December Meal Plan is filled with all my holiday favorites and traditional family recipes. As excited as I am about cooking this month, I made sure to include a lot of quick recipes so hopefully I’ll still enjoy being in the kitchen by the end of the festivities!
The holidays are synonymous with food for me and my family. So I’ve got our traditional Christmas Day Lineup: Sourdough Pancakes for breakfast, Posole and Tamales for Dinner, and S’mores by the fire before bed! We also do spaghetti with our homemade sauce on Christmas Eve. I have no idea why since most of my family is German, English and Polish!
I’ve also got a few favorites I like to mix in like the Game of Thrones Beef and Bacon Pie and Green Chile Chicken Enchiladas and of course – Christmas Cookies!
Since all those meals take some extra time in the kitchen, I tried to balance out the December Meal Plan with some quick meals to save my sanity!

Beef and Bacon Pie w/ Salad – I’ll be using the Modern Beef and Bacon Pie recipe from the Game of Thrones Cookbook but the Medieval Beef and Bacon Pie featured in the link is just as delicious!
