This is my “I’m really burnt out on cooking Meal Plan.” The last couple of weeks I’ve been feeling seriously uninspired because nothing sounds good. And the dishes that do sound good take so much time to make!
I enlisted Hub’s help and pretty much let him and the girls pick what we’re eating this week. Other than a little prep work, which we can do as a family, there won’t be a whole lot of time spent in the kitchen this week! I’m really excited that we’ll be eating things like homemade pizza where each person can build their own meal. That takes a huge load off me and the girls will get the opportunity to learn a little about making their own food.
Thank Goodness for TJ’s!
We’re going to do one of our favorite lazy meals: Trader Joe’s Mandarin Orange Chicken and Vegetable Fried Rice. We don’t do it often since it’s not the healthiest but oh is it tasty! And so quick and easy – I couldn’t say no to this one!
